The NSF certified motorized valve is one of the newer types of equipment that are available. They are much more sophisticated than the typical style and they offer the ability to operate at much higher pressures than other types of valves. When the pressure is increased for low volumes of fluid, the valves will not be able to deliver the pressure required for the amount of fluid. Instead, the pump will raise the pressure to the proper level before it is allowed to be released from the valve.

The cost of these motorized valves are approximately $200, which is about a third of the cost of a conventional model. This cost is slightly higher than a basic model, but then again you do get what you pay for.
