What is an Electric Motorized Ball Valve Used For Sea Water?

An electric motorized ball valve used for sea water is simply a ball valve that has a motor built into it. The water runs through the motors and you simply turn a spindle on a set of pulleys attached to the motor. Depending on how fast the motor is spinning, water can be vented out at a certain pressure and speed. The ball valve used for sea water has a valve body that is enclosed in a metal housing, which helps the ball valve from getting splashed by salt water.

There are two different styles of electric motorized ball valves used for sea water. The type that has a head screw attached to it is known as the static screw one. The electrical motor attached to the back of the ball valve will force the head screw and the movable ball valve to turn together. The ball valve head is usually attached to the head screw via a nut.
